Rescue recording of An Eroding Inter-Tidal Peat bed at Low Hauxley, Northumberland

Recording of the peat deposit and associated archaeological finds was carried out by Archaeological Research Services Limited and was supported by English Heritage. It revealed remains of prehistoric timber and preserved Mesolithic human footprints and animal tracks.
