The Magnesian Limestone in South and West Yorkshire Archaeological Assessment Project (3860)

This report provides an overview of the results of the Aerial Photograph Interpretation NMP mapping element of the Magnesian Limestone in South and West Yorkshire, funded by English Heritage through the Aggregates Levy Sustainability Fund (ALSF 3860 MAIN). The work was carried out between March 2005 and December 2006 and was managed by Archaeological Services, West Yorkshire Archaeology Service. This is primarily a management report concentrating on the methodology and products of the air photo interpretation and mapping. There are brief period and thematic summaries that highlight key results of the survey. The Magnesian Limestone Air Photo Mapping Project is an element of the Magnesian Limestone in South and West Yorkshire Archaeological Mapping and Assessment Project.
