Stonehenge World Heritage Site Landscape Project: King Barrow Ridge

Author(s): Sharon Bishop

A rapid field investigation (Level 1 survey) along the King Barrow Ridge has identified previously unrecorded earthworks relating to the post-medieval aesthetic development of the landscape and 20th century military activity. The survey complements earlier more detailed analytical surveys of the round barrows and other Level 1 surveys around the Stonehenge World Heritage Site.
